What is Axis?
Axis is our college-age ministry that seeks to live for Jesus, engage our culture with the treasure of Jesus and see lives transformed for Jesus.
When we talk about living for Jesus, we don't just mean for an hour on Sunday. We believe that we need to figure out how to love him with all our heart, soul and mind. We know that is how Jesus loves us and we want to return that love. So, we spend time looking into the Bible to understand him more and figure out how to love him more - living for Jesus.
We also are strong believers in community - loving others. The Bible is full of instruction for us on how to treat one another, it says to "love one another", "serve one another", "encourage one another", "live in harmony with one another" and tons more. We believe God created us for community and we want to live in a community that loves him and works to love one another in real ways.
God has given us an amazing place to live (especially here in Montana). He calls us to take care of it, and that is exactly what we want to be about. We want to come together and serve the world God has given us. That means building a house for the poor, feeding the homeless, cleaning up our city, parks or rivers, and wherever else we can find to serve our world.Contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
