Christmas Eve 2011: The Unfolding Plan

Christmas is an exciting celebration for Christians, a reminder that in Jesus, God became man.

We can have hope because (and only because) God stepped into human history to accomplish his plan of redemption.  This is the core of all our festivities.  Christmas brings so many memories and connotations to each of our minds, but above all, Christmas is about Jesus, and we celebrate him.

Above all, Christmas is about Jesus, and we celebrate him.

On Christmas Eve (Saturday, December 24), we will be holding worship services at both 4pm and 5:30pm.  This will be a focused time of worship; we’ll worship hard for one hour and then send you out for the rest of your Christmas celebrations.  All ages will be joining together for the Christmas Eve service (no children’s program that evening).  Then we will not be holding our regular Sunday worship services on December 25; so on that Sunday morning go ahead, sleep in, and hang out with your family.  Then we’ll all be back on schedule on January 1, 2012.
