South Hills Evangelical Church, or SHEC as everyone calls us, is truly a new twist on a well traveled tradition. We outgrew the South Hills area and relocated in the center and heart of Missoula (reason why we now go by SHEC). Although our “style” gets both praise and criticism we try to be very real and transparent. No fronts, no gimmicks, we are not after your money so put your wallet away. We just want to love God and love people who are searching, needing hope, needing joy, needing relationships, meaning, purpose, community, recovery and eternal life. We have seen many changes over the past years from a small body to the fastest growing and largest church in Western Montana. All of this is because of two things. 1) God decided to show up 2) the poeple of SHEC truly love Jesus and want to share that love with Western Montana as well as the surrounding areas. SHEC is growing not only in Missoula but we have expanded it to Thompson Falls, Hamilton, and Phillipsburg, MT with our hope in growing to all parts of the Northwest. My trust is that you feel absolutely comfortable to “come as you are” but my prayer is that you leave changed. A changed heart on the inside is what Jesus is all about. So come, leave the church clothes at home, grab a latte, drop your kids off at our dynamic programs, enjoy some rocking music, and listen to a message of home, of peace, and of a God who can change your life completely. We offer stuff for every interest, every age, and every style. We hope you will talk with hundreds of “SHECies” who have been impacted and changed by a relationship with Jesus.
