The inspiration and mission behind The Forum is expressed clearly by Paul when he wrote to Timothy saying: “All scripture is breathed out by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuke, for correction and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” (2 Tim 3:16-17)

The Forum will be a tool for the local church in the Missoula area. Its goal is to train, instruct, correct and equip the followers of Christ to live a gospel centered life. We hope to offer the people of SHEC and the church of Missoula a place of high quality, well produced, gospel saturated instruction. Our goal is not to host events centered simply on entertainment and fanfare, but we want to provide seminars and conferences that will encourage and instruct the body of believers in a gospel centered way.

Hosea 4:6 expresses the necessity of knowledge, and there is no better source for knowledge than Bible. Our first priority in teaching is that the gospel and its Savior be preeminent through everything. From conferences, to seminars to books, Christ demands and deserves our undivided attention.

Staff Pastors will continue to offer classes on a regular basis. For the future we are looking at bringing in, or even hosting multi-speaker, multi-day conferences. In addition, there will now be a Forum bookstore located in the back of the sanctuary and online. This bookstore will offer readable books on theology, relationships and spirit filled living.

While many of the events hosted by The Forum will cost money, this is not a profit grabbing attempt. We are committed to offering great training and books at the lowest possible prices while still being able to operate fiscally.

The Forum is for you, the Christian. We want to give you the training and tools to grow yourself, to grow your family and to grow your worship all for the glory of God. We hope that you will utilize this ministry and we pray that God will use it to bring praise and honor to his name.
