I want to share with you a truth I have found in recent years. I’m afraid if God hadn’t let me see this I would still be trying to find my happiness in the world, in myself, in anything other than God himself.

In the last few weeks here at SHEC our ministry areas have been going through a face lift of sorts. This face lift has taken on many parts and has required many players to accomplish.

What makes Johnny a bad boy? The world would say it depends on what Johnny is doing or has done. But in their viewpoint, we just have bad behaviors. If bad behavior is the problem the answer is, just do good behavior.

What’s worth celebrating: a new job? A birthday? Maybe even that 25^th wedding anniversary?

Some have been asking, “Why the change from Recovery Groups to Redemption Groups?” The truth is we are worshipful human beings, if we are not worshiping the God who created everything in the universe we will worship created things.
